ABOUT US
Why We Are Here
Greenbin is the result of countless late night conversations, sketched
notes on cocktail napkins, half-written business plans all against a
backdrop of pursuing and promoting an organic and green way of life.
Here we are in 2007 where green has gone beyond the alternative into
mainstream and at last the perfect opportunity finally presented itself
to unveil Greenbin.
Our concept of social networking isn't any different from anyone
else's. Our primary intent is to connect like-minded, simpatico
individuals on the web and have those individuals share and communicate
in a thoughtful and thought provoking way. We believe (like you!) that
each of us have unique interests, experiences and opinions and together
slowly and surely we can begin to make differences large and small in
the way that we live, the choices we make for ourselves, our families,
our communities by merely communicating, connecting and sharing.
Content, thought, opinions on Greenbin belong to each of us as members...
The Spark that Ignited the Flame
Many things but particularly individuals that have made both simple and profound choices to live healthier and greener lives. And although there are countless websites, groups, businesses etc that promote the benefits of greener living there seemed a void of voices that could connect to one another and share viewpoints, opinions, information in an independent collective. GreenBin's hope is to fill that void and bring this global community closer together.
Who is GreenBin.com
GreenBin was founded by Geoffrey Sidari, entrepreneur, dreamer, regular working family guy (yep he holds down a regular demanding day job!). Geoffrey and his family have made small daily adjustments to their lives since taking an active interest in green living . And although not formal green activists or living off the grid, Geoffrey and family have discovered that healthy green living can be achieved through daily life by small decisions and choices . This site is merely a representation of that, small steps, small actions, small choices made by a collective can equate to a healthier planet, simply put.
