Arrived in Hanoi last night and made it to our hotel a little after midnight. An ambien each and we were officially on Hanoi time next morning. The last leg of our travel from Seoul to Hanoi was downright brutal. We were incredibly exhausted, however, today we jumped up at 7am had breakfast and hit the streets of Hanoi. It is a different world, chaotic, noisy and full of intense vibrance of life. The smell of great cuisine and sewage fill the air. Stacy is passed out in the room right now after a cold shower. The heat here is overwhelming and we must have walked miles and miles, at one point we were soo lost because our map is crap, but Jen was smart enough to bring a tiny compass which set us straight all day. It is now starting to rain and the geckos are getting anxious. Time to eat. Must wake Stacy from his slumber. Tomorrow: Ha Long Bay for some Kayaking!!!!!
