Esthetica, London's sustainable fashion initiative brings together a group of sustainable designers which follow the criteria of -ethical trade: ensures farmers/ producers receive a fair price for their labour -slow clothes: fashion that is about producing, designing and consuming better -eco fabrics: measuring the impact the production of fabric has on the environment -organic:man made, natural and sustainable fibres -recycled: use of recycled materials EJF will be developing awareness on the apalling issues undergone in the production of cotton. Valued at over $32 billion annually, global cotton production should be improving lives but this "White Gold" too often brings misery.EJF is committed to eradicating child labour and the deadliest pesticides from cotton production.
